STAGE LABS is…

- A PLAYGROUND WHERE YOU CAN PRACTISE YOUR PERFORMANCE

- A SAFE PLACE FOR SHARING WITH LIKE-MINDED PROFESSIONALS

In traditional performance training, the performance situation is simulated so that you learn to deal with the stress by constantly re-enacting the stressful situation.

The problem is that the stress often hits you at a different time or from a different angle than you have trained for in this setting.

STAGE LABS aims to do the opposite: you learn to transform stress into a game, into a readiness to improvise and relax no matter what happens, to remain calm and - most importantly! - to anchor this experience in your body in such a way that you can apply it to all your performances.

So it's not a strategy that you train, it's the physical experience of ease and stability at the same time!

What we practice:

  • Body awareness
  • Self-confidence, technical stability
  • Relaxation and grounding
  • Reflecting instead of criticising
  • Listen deeply: to others and to yourself!
  • Awareness and contact
  • Stage presence
  • Using the space

STAGE LABS is a body and nervous system focused approach where learning is not only done mentally (i.e. talking, analysing, strategising) but by using our most intelligent resource: our body!
